Kennewick, WA – Tamaki Law has filed two wrongful death lawsuits in Benton County Superior Court on behalf of the families of Antonio Aguirre and Jhoser Enmanuel Vega-Sanchez, both of whom tragically lost their lives in separate DUI-related collisions on March 1, 2025, in Richland, Washington.
The lawsuits allege that the crashes, which occurred within 30 minutes of each other, were caused by impaired drivers who operated their vehicles recklessly, resulting in fatal consequences.
The first lawsuit, filed on behalf of the Estate of Antonio Aguirre and his minor son, names Matthew D. Mason as the defendant. According to the complaint, Mason was driving under the influence when he crossed the centerline on State Route 224, causing a head-on collision with Aguirre’s vehicle. Aguirre, a devoted father, tragically lost his life at the scene.
The second lawsuit, filed on behalf of the Estate of Jhoser Enmanuel Vega-Sanchez, alleges that Sarah L. Clasen, an off-duty Washington State Patrol trooper, was driving intoxicated when she failed to yield the right-of-way and turned in front of Vega-Sanchez’s motorcycle on State Route 240. The impact of the crash was fatal.
“These devastating losses were entirely preventable,” said Tamaki Law attorney Jeff Kreutz. “Our clients are seeking justice, accountability, and change to ensure no other families endure the same heartbreak caused by impaired driving.”
Tamaki Law remains committed to advocating for victims and their families, ensuring those responsible for these tragedies are held accountable.
