About

Elliot U. Ergeson

Elliot Ergeson grew up in Selah, Washington. Elliot attended the University of Oregon where he majored in Philosophy and Political Science and graduated with honors. While attending the University of Oregon, Elliot served as a Wayne Morse Scholar—the Wayne Morse Scholars program is for UO undergrads with high academic achievement who are interested in public affairs and community engagement.

After graduating from the University of Oregon, Elliot attended law school at the University of Minnesota. While in law school, Elliot served as a Senior Articles Editor and Staff Member for the University of Minnesota Law Review, as a board member of the American Constitution Society UM chapter, as a member of the University of Minnesota’s If/When/How: Lawyers for Reproductive Justice UM chapter, and as a member of the University of Minnesota’s Voices for Immigration Student Association UM chapter. Elliot ultimately graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School magna cum laude and Order of the Coif.

Before joining Tamaki Law, Elliot was a general litigator at Hawley Troxell, specializing primarily in trust/estate and real estate litigation. Elliot joined Tamaki Law because he is passionate about achieving justice and fighting for the “little guy.”

Elliot is also passionate about the Yakima community, serving as a member of the 2023-2024 Leadership Yakima class. While Elliot is not working, he enjoys golfing at the local Elks, grabbing a beer at one of Yakima’s many fantastic breweries, and archery hunting.
