Elliot U. Ergeson is an associate attorney at Tamaki Law, originally from Selah, Washington. He graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he also served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review and was active in legal advocacy organizations. Elliot completed his undergraduate studies with honors at the University of Oregon, majoring in Philosophy and Political Science and earning the distinction of Wayne Morse Scholar for academic excellence and civic engagement.

For Elliot, practicing law is more than just a job; it is a calling. Elliot is solely motivated by a passion for achieving justice for his clients. He is known for his compassionate, straightforward communication style, his practical approach to achieving favorable outcomes, and his refusal to shy away from a good fight. Elliot’s tireless and fearless approach has allowed him to achieve significant victories for his clients very early on in his career. Indeed, Elliot has been recognized as a 2026 Washington Super Lawyers Rising Star for his tremendous advocacy on behalf of his clients.

While his clients describe him as a bulldog, Elliot is also a scholar. He takes the utmost pride in his legal writing and has contributed to legal scholarship through published work on constitutional issues.

Elliot is licensed to practice in all Washington state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington. Outside of law, Elliot enjoys golfing, exploring Yakima’s local breweries, and archery hunting.
