Kaitlyn Vail was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Law, Societies, and Justice and minor in Spanish from the University of Washington, Kaitlyn worked with the City of Seattle to address sexual violence on college campuses.
Kaitlyn then obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, Kaitlyn interned for Washington State Supreme Court Justices Mary Yu and Steven González and served as a Notes and Comments Editor for Washington Law Review. Kaitlyn has also published a law review article addressing Title IX and restorative justice on university campuses.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, playing musical instruments, and spending time with her friends, family, and corgi.
