Our own government sometimes makes mistakes that seriously injures innocent citizens. When our government makes mistakes, it is required by law, just like its own citizens, to be accountable for its errors and mistakes which cause harm to its citizens.
These rules apply to government in all forms:
- Federal government and all of its agencies
- State government and all of its agencies
- County government and all of its agencies
- City government and all of its agencies
- Local school districts and its schools
- State universities
The government is responsible for its employees. Thus, mistakes and errors of government employees are, by law, the responsibility of their government employer. There are many restrictions, limitations, and exceptions to the above rules.
At Tamaki Law, we know the law and are not fearful of governmental entities and their attorneys. Some of our largest settlements have involved claims against the State government for its failure to protect our clients. If you have a complaint against the government for its failure to protect you, which caused you serious injury or damage, then call us. We are experienced and skilled at holding the government liable for its errors and mistakes.
